The Level 2 Hairdressing Professional Apprenticeship is ideal for anyone with little or no previous experience who is looking to begin a rewarding career in hairdressing. This programme provides strong foundations from day one, equipping you with the essential skills, knowledge and confidence needed to succeed in a professional salon environment.
During the apprenticeship, you will learn a wide range of core hairdressing techniques, including:
You’ll develop your skills while working in a real salon, gaining valuable hands-on experience with live clients. In addition, you’ll attend one of our academies once every fortnight for expert-led training and support.
Throughout the apprenticeship, you will earn at least the National Minimum Wage for apprentices. The programme typically takes 20–24 months to complete.
