GBBA MTE – Hairdressers to Barber – Core Foundations in Barbering

This one-day course is designed for qualified hairdressers who already understand the fundamentals of hairdressing but want to build confidence and skill in men’s hair and shorter haircut techniques. It is ideal for those working in a salon environment who feel less assured with male grooming or clipper-based work.

Throughout the day, you will learn a wide range of essential barbering skills, including:

• Clipper confidence and control
• Scissor-over-comb techniques
• Shaping perimeters and necklines
• Layering
• Fading and blending

All models are provided.

Course Structure

• 10:00–16:00 (includes a 30-minute lunch break)
• Morning: Live demonstrations
• Afternoon: Hands-on practical session

Drinks and light refreshments are included.

Upon completion, you will receive an MTE GBBA Attendance Certificate.
