Shaving NVQ – 2-Day Intensive Course

This two-day course celebrates the art of the traditional British wet shave while preparing you to achieve a government-recognised NVQ in Shaving.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in:

• Full-face clean shaving
• Beard trimming and razor line-outs
• Hot towel treatments
• Forehand and backhand razor techniques
• Correct use of shaving brushes and lathering methods
• Working with a variety of professional shaving products

You’ll complete three practical assessments and an exam, leading to a Mike Taylor Education Shaving Certificate and your NVQ in Shaving – a qualification officially recognised by the UK government.

All training takes place in an intensive workshop format, ensuring maximum practice and personal guidance.

Models

You’re welcome to bring your own models (please let us know in advance), but we will also provide all the models you need throughout the course.

Who is this course for?

This course is open to beginners. However, a background in hairdressing, barbering, or beauty will help you get the most from the training.
